Attending the Diesel Black Gold fashion show at New York Fashion Week is always a highlight to the trip. From the celebs sitting front row to the raw warehouse where the show is held, inspiration is on full overdrive. To sum the collection up in a few words: black, white, leather, edgy. You may be thinking this sounds a bit masculine but in reality the looks had a sexy vibe to them.
Three words: Fashion Week Red. It really is funny how a lip color can give a woman the ultimate confidence. Maybe we are just speaking for ourselves? Doubtful. Dare to go red. The color draws attention, in the best kind of way. Look fierce. Feel fashion forward. Give it a try. We have included some of our personal faves below. Seriously, rock red this fall.
It’s that time of year again when we hit the shows for New York Fashion Week and are motivated by the clothing that’s everywhere in sight. Lincoln Center is quite a stunning place. Milk Studios is pretty rad as well, but we have to admit the glamorous shoes and fancy-schmancy looks + organically fantastic ensembles distract us from the scenery in which we stand. We assume that’s why inspiration is constant. People aren’t afraid to wear outfits to get them noticed. Take a look and envelop the Fashion Week frenzy for yourself.

Live from New York Fashion Week, we’re bringing you the hottest looks for Spring. Rebecca Minkoff set the stage for us this fashion week season with all the rage in-tune trends. To sum it up, she has perfected the “sexy tomboy” with a beachy yet sporty while flirty and sassy flare. What item are we eyeing other than Mr. Ryan Lochte sitting front row? Skinny light-wash denim. Why head this direction? They are great with nearly any heel, ankle booties, or built-in wedge sneakers.

While attending shows at New York Fashion Week this season, it was very apparent that the sixties are an inspiration for the fall. Take Nicole Miller for example. Velvet, bell-bottoms, suede, vests and floppy hats were among the runway. The designer also incorporated prints and patchwork leather; overall the collection had that Beatles-era vibe. But Miller was not the only one. Gwen Stefani’s line, L.A.M.B., made quite the retro statement. She took on a more rock n’ roll sixties spin with her collection using neon colors and statement sweaters. The beehive hair and overstated lashes the models sported synced perfectly with printed jumpsuits and mini skirts. Overall both created fierce yet fun collections.
