This olive green fall dress ya’ll. I was at the mall returning something and then I laid eyes on this and without trying it on, I bought it. First of all, I love the olive green color. Second of all, it was less than $60. And lastly, I knew I’d be able to wear it anywhere and everywhere. I’ve worn it with a denim jacket, I’ve worn it with a long cardigan, and I’ve worn it by itself. Such a good purchase!

I will be the first to admit – I was really hesitant about this denim skirt trend. I love the 70s vibe of it, but personally felt like I couldn’t pull it off. That all changed though the second I actually tried this one on. The combination of high-waisted + A-line basically equals the most flattering thing you could ever put on. I also love this denim skirt because it gives you variety when you don’t just want to wear jeans. Dallas has been really slow to enter into fall, so this is a great alternative to dress “fall”, without burning up!
I’ve also always been a fan of semi-cropped sweaters but since I’m tall-ish, I’ve had a hard time knowing what to pair it with. I love pairing this cable knit sweater with the denim skirt – the skirt is high waisted so I don’t have to worry about the sweater being too short, and I think cable knit and denim is such a classic look!

You know you made a good purchase when you buy something that you never want to take off. And you repeat the same outfit 3 times in one week because you love it so much. That’s exactly how I feel about this faux shearling vest.
What I love about this (faux) shearling vest is how versatile it is. It hasn’t been cold enough in Texas yet for a big heavy vest, but I’ve been able to wear this one with a short-sleeved tee because it’s pretty light-weight! It also has pockets and is the softest thing in the world.
The other great thing about this shearling vest is that you can make it as dressy or casual as you want. I paired mine with distressed skinny jeans but you could also do it with a black skinny pant and heels for a dressier look!

I’ve come to discover recently that a large majority of you guys are fellow Dallas-ites! Which is why I’m so excited today to talk about Circle Seven Five. I’m assuming most of you have heard of it by now, but just in case you haven’t…allow me to introduce you to this wonderful network of women!
To quote one of our members: “Circle Seven Five is a group of women from the DFW area who desire friendships, non-competitive environments, good laughs, and networking.” Honestly this is a group of women like I’ve never experienced before. I grew up in church and had that circle of friends, I was in a sorority in college and had that circle of friends, but honestly ya’ll, finding a good network of girl friends after college is tough. I was so happy when I met Cassidy (founder and creator of CSF) and she told me about this wonderful group!
Here’s how I can explain this group in a nutshell: it’s amazing for professional networking and finding connections, it’s great if you’re just needing a solid group of girl friends in the Dallas area, and it helps you get to know Dallas through all of the fun events we do at different restaurants or parks or fitness studios. It’s one of those groups that “you get out of it what you put into it.” You could go to every event and probably meet your new bff, or you could just go to a few here and there just to have something to fill an empty night!
Regardless though, I cannot say enough good things about this group of women. Fun-loving, encouraging, and just a great group of girls. I highly recommend you look into it if you’re wanting to network with other women in Dallas, or if you’re just looking for a good group of girl friends!
To give you a peek into what a regular month is like for CSF members: Circle Seven Five hosts an average of 4 events per month, and has partnered with Dallas names like Pure Barre Preston Hollow, Matthew Trent Jewelry and Riffraff for exclusive experiences for members. Events range from fitness activities, monthly member lunches, and macaroon baking classes to happy hour events focusing on first time home buying and a new series called “For Curious Minds” educational information for the young professional.

When it comes to make-up, I am a creature of habit. (Okay when it comes to most things in life, I’m a creature of habit). But especially when it comes to lipstick/lip gloss. I find one I like and pretty much don’t change. Let me tell you though, Buxom’s new bold gel lipsticks have been a total game-changer for me.
The collection (find it here) is available in 30 saturated satin & matte shades. So basically you’ll never need to buy another thing of lipstick in your life! These lipsticks are amazing because they don’t feel like lipstick. They’re made from an ultra-light gel formula and are super moisturizing.
I noticed right away when I tried them on that each shade has such a rich color to it. Even the one I’m wearing here (called Naturally Daring) is a neutral/nude color but a very rich nude. Every shade offers a rich, beautiful color.
This collection comes in so many shades that you really can wear it everyday. I wore it (as seen above) in a neutral shade, but they have so many other perfect fall lipstick colors that can transform any outfit from “everyday” to fierce and bold (Like Sultry Mauve or Ruby Temptress!)

One of my favorite things about blogging has been getting discover and work with new slash amazing brands. I fell in love with ILY Couture a few months back and find myself more obsessed with them with every new addition to their site!
I’ll be real with ya’ll. More often than not, I am just not in the mood to dress up. But unfortunately wearing pajamas to run errands isn’t necessarily acceptable. I love ILY Couture because their tees are not only extremely soft and comfortable, but they’re still chic at the same time. I love that I can sleep in these tees if I want to, but also pair it with a scarf or one of their super chic sunnies and have a really put together look.
Another reason the ILY Couture website is quickly becoming a go-to shopping spot for me is the price point. Seriously these sunnies look so high end and are $22?! I’m all about that. Their tees are great quality and actually don’t fall apart in the wash, yet for a price that won’t break the bank!
