elaine turner + apparel

You know the kind of excitement you get when you discover that your favorite movie has decided to make a sequel? Or your favorite musician puts out a new CD? Well, that is exactly how I felt when I heard that Elaine Turner was going to be releasing an apparel line! Considering how much I love her handbags and shoes, I knew her clothing would be so chic and sophisticated and it is exactly that. Below you’ll see my favorite dress from her new collection!

I love this dress not only for the adorable print and great spring color scheme, but because it’s one of those dresses you could literally wear anywhere. Throw a cardigan over it to make it work-appropriate, pair it with flat sandals for weekend wear, or dress it up with heels for the perfect spring & summer wedding look.

falling for florals

Let’s be real – we are never surprised when floral is a trend for spring. But, even if it might be a trend every spring season, it doesn’t make me love it any less! I am especially crazy about it this year – floral rompers, floral maxi skirts, floral everything. I think it’s perfect for spring & summer weddings, great for brunch with the girls, and always feels feminine and classy. I’ve put together a little shopping guide for you with some great floral items (+ accessories!) that are all under $100! (You can hover over the image to get links to each item!)

sundress & a sweater

I think Spring is one of the most fun times of the year in terms of fashion. After months of layers upon layers and and thick scarves and heavy coats, we’re finally seeing light fabrics, florals, and bright colors again. Dressing for spring isn’t always easy though – sundresses are on the sales floor but sometimes the temps haven’t quite warmed up for this yet. Which is why I’m currently obsessed with throwing a lightweight sweater over a sundress. Or, sweaters with cutoff shorts. The beauty of Spring is getting to mix a little of winter with summer!

My favorite thing about this sundress is definitely the cute little open back. The dress is still bra friendly and could be worn to church or brunch, but the small opening in the back just adds a little more fun to it! This is one of those sundresses that you will get SO much use out of!

blush crush

Everyone has their go-to color. What they feel their best in, what they always gravitate towards when shopping. Mine is blush pink. I love how feminine and elegant it is. I also think it’s a great color for a variety of skin tones!

I love this blush pink crochet dress (which just went on sale!) because it’s so versatile. It can be dressed up with nude heels for Easter Sunday or summer tea, or you could pair it with boyfriend jeans and strappy sandals for a more boho look. It feels so girly yet still chic, which is my favorite.

sweatpants outside the house

I don’t know about you, but given the opportunity, I can and will wear sweatpants every chance I get. Which is why I’m loving the current jogger trend that’s going on. I love that joggers/sweatpants can have so many different looks: athletic, chic, dressed up, or simply casual. We’ve put together a little guide for you in case you’re not sure where to start with this whole “sweatpants outside the house” trend! A great white tee is a must and easy to pair with any joggers. Your shoe options are truly endless, but here are a few of my faves! (You can hover over each image to get links to shop!)

I don’t know about you but I have been on a major shoe craze recently. I blame the change of weather.
