    Lauren, such a wonderful soul you must have, to have reached so many people and envoked such positive emotion and energy from them. My daughter (11) first heard about your story on the Today show and has been faithfully following your daily updates as well as well as gathering as much information about you on the internet as possible so that she may update me…daily. We both pray for your speedy recovery, that God gives you the strength and the will to endure the obstacles that he has placed in your path. Keep the Faith, and know that we are ALL on your side! Have a great Christmas with your Family!!!

    Your incident has touched my heart. I knew immediately you would make it through this event…..I do not know why or how, but I even discussed it with my various classes as I am a high school teacher the day following the accident. Things such as this cannot always be expalined nor will anyone always find the answer as to why it happened to you. I have prayed for you and your family despite the fact I am not a practicing Christian. I did envision your recovery as perrhaps being an enormous inspiration to others. I feel the beauty and goodness you posess inside as well as out…. I don’t know quite where this feeling has come from but please get well soon girlfriend. I will pray for you tonight. You are a fighter! Keep fighting…

As we hussle and bussle in our business lives here in London and matters of little importance, it is a breath of fresh air to stop for a moment and think of you in your recovery and reflect on the words within the passage as indicative of the determination and strength of character you have.

    Lauren, I heard about your story just like millions across the country did on the news. I am so sorry that this happened to such a young girl like you. I can’t imagine what you and your family feel, but I do know you will get through this. I have a strong feeling that you will get back out there and live a long and wonderful happy life.     Lauren, like so many others, I pray for you during your recovery. You are clearly a remarkable young lady with lots of will and spirit. There are thousands (if not millions) of people following your story and wishing you nothing but a successful recovery and a bright future. God wouldn’t give you and your family more than you can handle, and I trust that He has big plans for you here on Earth. You have a lot of challenges ahead of you, but from everything I’ve heard, if anyone can overcome this type of accident and come out stronger, it will be you. God bless you, Lauren.     Lauren, we are praying for you! My daughter is 10 years old, and I told her your story today when I visited your Caring Bridge site and watched the video on YouTube. She was in tears thinking of what you have gone through and how strong you are. There are a lot of pre-teen and teenaged girls out there who are looking to you for inspiration. Like the words of that amazing video said, your testimony now is partly to those girls who define success through the perfect body, the perfect clothes, the perfect car, the perfect boyfriend. However what they are desperately missing is that success is having utter faith in the God who saved us and made us to glorify him. You are obviously a special girl, because God has prepared you and chosen you and honored you for a much higher calling. No person knows what the future holds, but we are confident that He will be glorified through your life and testimony. We are so proud of your strength and your perseverance and your character.     As a father of adult children, my heart goes out to you all. Lauren, I am glad you are improving already! Hoping that you all are able to trust the Lord thru this difficult time. I have found His grace and mercy able to carry me when things went bad in my life. Chuck Swindoll is pastor of a Stonebriar church in Plano. Go to you’ll be encouraged.     Hi Lauren

    When I heard about the terrible accident, happened to you, It makes me really sad and I ask myself, why now again such a horrifying accident happened to a nice person like you? I do hope that you’ll recover well and that you will be mentally strong and willing which will make you soon able to manage your future life successfully again as you did before. I really have the strong feeling in my heart and I will pray for it, that you’ll be soon back to the society and that you will have a happy and long life. I would like to tell you more about my own experience. But just for now, I can just tell you: If there is a will, there is a way and every cloud has a silver lining! And if you really work hard for it, nearly everything is possible!

    I run a small riding academy in South Florida wher we have mostly kids and teens. Our goal is to bring the joy of horses to many many children that otherwise could not afford this spiritual experience. I have been so filled with amazement after reading about all you have been through and your fight to recover. Also, that you are a twin and how closely she feels the pain you have experienced.

    I hope that when you are feeling better, that you and your sister and family will come visit our farm in sunny south Florida. It will be an event for us to meet you in person.

    As a young girl I lost my right hand and sight in my right eye in a shooting accident. I know the journey you face as you work through you recovery is daunting and at at times will seem impossible, but hang in there and draw on the strength of those around you. You will succeed. I am a happy, health women with a beautiful family, and I am often told that people forget I have a handicap. I believe that is because I face life with no handcap, parts of my body may be broken, but my spirit is not. Attitude is everything, and can help you overcome anything. Hang in there and keep your head up. God Bless.

      It is beautiful to find people like you and Lauren… you both are a true inspiration to many of us, that complaint at the littlest problems. When I found out about Lauren, I was deeply touched and immediately felt compelled to writing her to tell her I admired her strength and unbreakable faith! Now, I read you comment and can see that out there are many beautiful souls that God has placed on this earth, to teach us the great importance of having a strong spirit and no matter what, make the best of this beautiful life we are blessed with..

    You and your family are a shining example of faith, grace, and strength. I will pray for your continued healing.

    Thank You Lord that You are the God that heals. You have promised to pardon all our iniquities and heal all our diseases. You feel compassion and heal those who are sick and say to them, “the Kingdom of God has come near to you.

    Thank you Lord that You sent Your Word and healed us, and delivered us from our destruction. By your holy stripes we are healed.

    Thank You Lord that the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick and they will turn to God in repentance and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You will restore all of us to health and heal our wounds. We thank You Lord that You are the God who performs miracles. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
